		<description>A crimp bead is a tiny metal tube that you &quot;pinch&quot; on the wire with the special pliers. It&#039;s commonly used to secure the wire loop holding the clasp, but can also be used to keep beads stationary (one crimp on either side) anywhere on the wire. For example if you wanted a necklace with the &quot;floating bead&quot; effect as seen here:
